Want to discuss Data Science techniques such as Apache Spark, Apache Drill, Apache Parquet, have a cool Scala idea, love to Dabble or Enhance Systems with Mahout, or you want to learn about Hadoop or NoSQL (SOLR, MongoDB, Casandra), Column DB (Apache Parquet) – then this group is for you. Veteran or novice – come and learn. Everything and anything used as a tool by an experimenter is fair game.

 

Our goal is to meet once a month, come rain or shine. For now, it is the first Monday of the month. Regardless if the event is actually stated on the calendar.

dfw mobile .netThis session will show you how to add notifications, remote and local, to your application.  Whether it’s an iOS, Android, or Windows, it’s easy to add notifications.  We will take a look at using AWS Notification Service, Azure Notification Hub, and even doing your own Push Notifications with PushSharp.

 

A group of developers interested in learning to develop mobile applications in .NET related technologies. We will discuss Windows Phone, Windows RT, creating iOS and Android apps with .NET using tools like Xamarin. We meet the second Wednesday of each month.

We meet weekly to discuss startup topics and share our experience in Oak Cliff. The session is moderated and lasts just an hour. It’s a great way to start the day!

 

The OpenCoffee Club originated in 2007 in London by Saul Klein, one of the founders of Skype. The goal was to encourage entrepreneurs, developers and investors to become acquainted with each other in informal gatherings so that the investment industry become more transparent and thus to encourage entrepreneurship.
