Brightwing, the leading Recruiting and Learning Solutions Company, announced today that it has been chosen by Crain’s Detroit Business as one of Michigan’s “Cool Places to Work in Tough Times.” When the economy slides employees often pay the price through extended hours, frozen salaries or vanishing perks. There are, however, companies in metro Detroit that have done their very best to keep it cool, despite tough times.
“As a company that is dedicated to the right selection, alignment and development of its people, we are honored that RESOURCE would be chosen for this significant award,” said Aaron Chernow, Chief Executive Officer of Brightwing. “It confirms our commitment to putting people first and creating a business that is based on the personal need to help and service others.”
Crain’s received nominations from employees of 191 companies this year. Leaders of the companies were then asked to fill out a survey on company benefits, policies and practices. One hundred and seven executives completed the survey, designed by the Southfield-based American Society of Employers. From their responses, 35 winning companies were chosen across five size categories, based on point totals.
Brightwing will be featured in the Crain’s Cool Places in Tough Times September 7 edition.
Brightwing has also been named one of “Metropolitan Detroit’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” in 2009 by the Michigan Business and Professional Association (MBPA). To learn more about the Brightwing team, click here.
